Rogue42 is a deep science research lab for high-risk projects at the intersection of neuroscience and AI. Our current projects focus on:
1. Cognitive markers for mental wellbeing: Designing, developing and validating novel non-invasive tools for measuring various cognitive functions that affect mental wellbeing and day-to-day behaviour. This involves neuropsychology tests, voice biomarkers, gaze biomarkers and kinematic biomarkers.
2. Synthetic sentience: Developing predictive processing based frameworks to understand, model and synthetically reproduce subjective features of our mind - qualia, awareness, emotions and consciousness. We aim to create agents that can experience a rich subjective inner world instead of merely simulating it.
