Créée en 1967 par Bernard Oberlé, qui en assure toujours la présidence, l’entreprise familiale Rohl est installée, depuis 2000, sur le site de Erstein-Krafft, au sud de Strasbourg, où y exercent une trentaine
de collaborateurs. Depuis 2008L, elle y développe une politique autour de trois axes :
- Tout d’abord, préserver l’outil industriel alsacien en privilégiant la sous-traitance locale (ce qui permet de limiter l’empreinte carbone)
- Ensuite, concevoir de nouveaux produits autour du concept de la « maintenabilité » garantissant la recyclabilité
des produits
-Enfin, mettre en oeuvre les technologies nouvelles en termes d’efficacité optique et de consommation énergétique
Aujourd'hui Rohl est ISO 9001, ISO 14001, membre de BPI Excellence et membre fondateur de la DEEE Pro.
