Roth Bar

Roth Bar is situated at Hauser & Wirth Somerset, a pioneering world-class art gallery occupying a former farmstead in Bruton. Composed of salvaged materials and objects from reclamation yards in the surrounding area, discover beers, wines, spirits and cocktails deeply rooted in the South-West. Alongside the drinks list is an accompanying bar food menu featuring locally made cheeses, charcuterie and produce from our farm. Roth Bar also hosts an innovative programme of activities and musical performances throughout the year. Artist Oddur Roth, grandson of the late German-born Swiss artist Dieter Roth, lived and worked in Bruton, UK between January and April 2024. Alongside his team, Einar Roth, Bjarni Grímsson, Sigrún Holmgeirsdottir, Thrandur Gíslason Roth and Gudmundur Oddur Magnusson, they reimagined Roth Bar as a new fully functioning, site-specific artwork within the Threshing Barn at Hauser & Wirth Somerset.
