I'm Ryan, founder of Eight Thirteen. Since 2015, I've operated my small business, Be Ice Cream Or Be Nothing. In 2022, I published my first book, Is This Your Favorite Ice Cream, and since its release, my writing has remained a focus.
From helping small businesses develop employee handbooks to my personal writing about fatherhood and mental health, I created Eight Thirteen to formalize the work I've done for years.
So why Eight Thirteen? Well, on the night I became a dad, the sunset at 8:13 pm. This signified the most important transition of my life. As I've helped others transition their work, my goal is to bring humanity back to the workplace.
