Established in ‘2006, Saambhavi is a Delhi based NGO workingto empower India’s underprivileged class through education, health andcommunity development. We reach out to the lowest and marginalized sections ofsociety, with a specific focus on poor, challenged women and children. Itis our aim to provide quality education and medical care to help those in needin order to develop the skills and knowledge to lead an active, educated andself-sustainable life. Our program activities are focused on poor,slum communities in Delhi, NCR & a few other parts of India, where we arereaching out to over 45000 p.a. women and children in need.(in totality of thefact this organization is providing medical, educational & otherrehabilitation facilities to the poor & weaker section of the society apartfrom the males of downtrodden community & awareness campaigns forgeneral awakening to environmental issues, seasonal & communicablediseases.) We especially work for children of migrant labourers, streetchildren, orphans, mentally / physically handicapped, labourers, elderly,destitute, widows, divorcees and other underprivileged group.Most of our activities are for handicappedchildren. We have two well-equipped centre for their rehabilitation (shown withphotograph in treatment head). Here we provide treatment & schooling toblind, low-vision, leprosy-cured, locomotive disability, mental retardation,mental-ill people.
