Sabah Jurisdictional Approach for Sustainable Palm Oil Initiative (JASPO) is a multi-stakeholder initiative under the Sabah State Government to achieve 100% certified sustainable oil palm production across the entire state of Sabah. By 2025, JASPO aims to achieve 100% readiness for state-wide certification for Sabah.
Sabah is the first state to pilot jurisdictional certification in the world.
Through this initiative, the State Government is committed to transforming Sabah’s palm oil production and supply chains, halting deforestation, restoring ecosystems, and securing sustainable livelihoods
