ABOUT US : SADCO- Somali Agricultural Development & Climate Organization is a youth led non-profit organization that combines capacity building, research and youth empowerment. SADCO seeks a sustainable solution for food insecurity, deforestation and climate change in Somalia. Our volunteers want to educate the Somali farmers on increasing productivity, climate change adaptation and mitigation, when possible. By the activities we organize our participants get the opportunity to learn about agriculture, environment and exchange experience, knowledge and ideas in all different parts of the world. SADCO was established by a group of young people that have strong interest in agriculture and environment on 20 October 2020. Our Vision  To be a leading of Somali youth for eradicating poverty, hunger and deforestation. Our Mission  To facilitate training in good agricultural practices to help farmers learn how to capable manage the health of their land, effectively cultivate their crops and increase their harvest.  To create awareness of the coming threats related to climate change.  To provide seminars and workshops for agricultural students to increase their skills and knowledge on modern farming and climate resilience.  To make the youth aware of the contributions they can make within agriculture for a better future, especially in applying climate-smart practices in agriculture.
