Somali Engineers Association

The Somali Engineers Association (SEA) is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to advancing the engineering profession in Somalia. Officially registered under the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia, the association operates with legal status as granted under Article No. 54 of the Somali Civil Law, issued on June 2, 1973. This legal foundation enables SEA to carry out its duties and responsibilities in support of Somali engineers and the nation’s development. Our mission is to empower Somali engineers, promote their professional growth, and facilitate collaboration within the engineering community—both locally and internationally. SEA organizes training, conferences, and networking events that aim to enhance the knowledge and impact of Somali engineers, especially in critical infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water supply systems, and urban planning. As an engineering association, we are committed to uniting engineers, enhancing their expertise, and fostering innovation in the field. Our efforts focus on improving engineering standards, supporting the development of the country’s infrastructure, and contributing to the sustainable growth of Somali society.
