Salov was founded in 1919 in the province of Lucca (Tuscany) where the Group's headquarter and production site are based. The Group handles the whole value chain in-house, from the procurement to the bottling of edible oil (predominantly olive oil), including R&D and marketing. Salov has one of the most modern production plants in Europe, with state-of-the-art filtering, storage, blending systems and with a fully digitized supply chain. The Group is one of the largest in the sector, with 4 subsidiaries (USA, UK, RUSSIA, BRAZIL), 1 commercial office (Milan), and sales around 500MLN € and 100MLN liters. Salov owns 2 brands: FILIPPO BERIO, sold in more than 70 countries since 1867, and SAGRA (1959) acquired by SALOV in 1975. Salov pursues sustainability as an integral part of its values.
