Samata Foundation, established in 2006, is a Public Charitable Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 and Society Registration Act, 1860. Samata Foundation endeavours for the development of the less privileged and unorganized sector viz., Construction Labour, Migrant Labour, Domestic Workers, Dalits, Economically Backward People etc. through its various projects. It envisages strengthening the society to achieve substantial growth, progress and development through education and vocational training.
Samata Foundation believes in the say that “Education and Health care given at the right time and right place shall lead to economic development” hence its focus is to develop less privileged people mentioned above particularly in the areas of education and health. Samata Foundation endeavours for the development of the less privileged through schooling program, student adoption, health check-up program. It also aids to get various schemes of government to reach the economically backward class people, students, youths thus promoting awareness on employment and self-employment, social awareness, development on environmental importance and upliftment of social well-being.
