For nearly 40 years, Sameem Behavioral Health has been helping outpatient mental and behavioral health care patients suffering from addiction, substance use disorder (SUD), trauma, and other co-occurring conditions with a focus on long-term, happy living. Our patients range in age from adolescents to elders. Abstinence is not a requirement for participation in our substance programs, although it is typically preferred.
We also offer programs for patients who suffer from trauma from childhood experiences or more recent events. In all our programs, accepting the past as past and moving into a brighter future is the goal.
Sameem's unique program offers three levels of care:
1. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP Adolescent & Adult programs)
2. Sameem Enhanced Support Services (a step-down program from IOP, or hiigher levels of care for people facing particular challenges)
3. Sameem Healthy Living Services (for people who value their mental health and invest time in maintaining it(
When a relapse of drug addiction or alcoholism leads to a crisis, we can mobilize quickly with an Intensive Outpatient Program. Likewise, as you step down to aftercare, we can offer long-term programs with many treatment options.
