Samphia is a team of 30 individuals committed to bringing inclusion to the most remote and underserved communities in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. We currently run 3 programs in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Our flagship, Aash Child Development Center, serves over 600 children. We also run National Health Mission's District Early intervention Centre at the regional government hospital in Kullu. Our most recent program, Therapy on Wheels, India’s first inclusion-centered van-based program, was awarded the Zero Project Award (2022) at the UN office in Vienna for its innovative last-mile approach.
We are currently working on scaling the success of the three-pronged Kullu model to the other districts of Himachal Pradesh with ongoing expansion currently in the works in the Chamba district.
