Our interdisciplinary team is working to make mechanical enginnering systems lighter, more sustainable and quieter. We develop investigates methods by which advanced acoustic and vibration engineering system properties can be designed and evaluated. The SAM research group also develops methods and procedures to design and evaluate the reliability of passive and active systems. Our new acoustic labs make it possible to perform investigations on technical products according to the current state of the art.
