We are a women-led social enterprise with a mission to create meaningful, long-lasting impact in the lives of rural women in Shirali, North Karnataka. Founded under the guidance of His Holiness Shrimad Sadyojat Shankarashram Swamiji, we are driven by a commitment to women empowerment and sustainable community growth. We have empowered 500+ underprivileged women with economic independence and skill-building opportunities in tailoring, embroidery, handmade paper crafting, and upcycling. Since our founding, SAMVIT SUDHA® has expanded from a small tailoring and embroidery unit into a vibrant community initiative producing 5,000+ eco-friendly, handcrafted products annually. By upcycling newspapers, fabric, and handmade paper, we have saved 600+ trees, contributed to a zero-waste process, and reduced environmental impact. As part of the PARIJNAN FOUNDATION® since 2011, we’re committed to crafting a brighter, more equitable future. Our work has transformed the lives of hundreds of women, providing them with the opportunity to achieve self-reliance, balance family duties, and be recognized as respected contributors within their communities.
