Sand Control Lab is an independent center for expertise and testing of well completion equipment.
We provide complex testing of sand screens, inflow control devices, injection valves and sliding sleeve devices:
• Mechanical tests (wrap-on-pipe push off test, screen push test, end rings push test).
• Hydraulic tests (erosion test, inflow control device flow performance test, screen burst/collapse test).
• Sand retention test, PSD analysis.
• Laser-optical inspection of wire-wrapped screen slots.
• Additional expertise (Torque and Drag calculations, well modelling with inflow control devices, chemicals evaluation and analysis, CFD simulations, non-destructive testing).
API and ISO quality standards and methods are the base of our tests, as well as technical requirements for the well equipment adopted by the market leaders. The SCL conducts scientific research on the development of testing equipment methods and analysis of the effectiveness of its use.
