Sands Engineering Consultancy is a multidisciplinary design consultancy specialising in the integrated design of highways, transport, urban development and regeneration schemes. We provide a unique blend of services from transport planning to construction supervision on residential developments and local authority projects. For Residential Developments we undertake transport planning activities such as transport statements and assessments towards gaining planning permission and undertake the access road, signing, street lighting and drainage design to discharge typical highways(S278 / S38) and drainage planning conditions. For Local Government Authorities we undertake transport and traffic engineering activities such as traffic congestion relief schemes, traffic calming schemes, accident reduction and safe routes to school schemes, highway improvement schemes and towncentre improvement studies.
