Save Cantonese 守護粵語

Save Cantonese is a volunteer-driven 501c3 nonprofit that protects Cantonese language and culture by strengthening connections across the global Cantonese diaspora. Through expanding K-12 and university Cantonese programs, we ensure that present and future generations benefit from language access. We additionally run both in-person and online events that celebrate Cantonese, including social media, website, and more. We were founded in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic by our executive director Dr. Jamie Tam and agroup of Stanford alumni who rallied to save the program there. Since then, we've expanded globally, with members on multiple continents doing their part to save CAntonese.
