Scalar International exists to unlock institutional funding to support the emergence of first-tier, indigenous, and women-owned businesses that contribute towards a sustainable and inclusive future through clean energy and digital technologies. We encourage the financial sector to participate in decarbonization strategies and digital transformation that leads to accomplishing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Scalar ecosystem consists of: 1. Technical Assistance Facility which includes a Gender Smart Climate Incubator Program, and Accelerator Programs specializing in Clean energy and Digital Technologies. 2. Africa Green Ventures and Technologies Fund to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage companies in sub-Saharan Africa. 3. Africa Decarbonization Fund to invest in clean energy projects in the Commercial and Industrial Sector across Africa. 4. US Decarbonization Fund to invest in clean energy and energy efficiency infrastructure projects in the Northeast US.
