SC Gjøa (pronounced YO-ah) was formed by Norwegian immigrants in 1911 and is the oldest soccer club in New York and quite possibly the nation. Our Brooklyn-based program provides soccer Travel Soccer, soccer camps, and classes and clinics for girls & boys ages 3 to 18 years. The club has over 800 participants each year.
As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, we put kids before earnings in every aspect of our approach to teaching young people the beautiful game.
