The Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan is the central executive authority responsible for government, special state, mobile special state, intergovernmental communication, as well as communication involving state bodies, public legal entities established on behalf of the state, and legal entities owned by the state. It also holds authority in the field of information security.
The coordination of computer incidents occurring within state bodies and issues related to cybersecurity are carried out by the Computer Emergency Response Center (CERT.GOV.AZ) under the Special Communication and Information Security State Service. The Service is directly subordinate to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
