At LLR, our day is all about you. Did you know that in some way we touch your life every day? We license your doctor, your dentist, the person who built your home, the engineer and architect who planned and designed the building you work in or visit, the cosmetologist and barber who cut your hair, and so many others through our Division of Professional and Occupational Licensing. We train firefighters who respond to your emergencies. We visit your home, your community, your place of worship, and your schools to help educate you and your loved ones on how to be fire safe. And we inspect those public buildings you visit - all through State Fire - our Division of Fire and Life Safety. We work with your employers to help them provide a safe and healthy worksite for you and your co-workers through our Division of SC OSHA. We work with you and your employer when you have not been paid for the work you performed through our Office of Wages and Child Labor. We inspect amusement rides and elevators through our Office of Elevators and Amusement Rides so that you will have a safe riding experience. And we work with employers through the Office of Immigration Compliance to make sure they are using E-verify to check if their employees are authorized to work in the United States.
