The Scort Foundation is a politically and religiously independent non-profit organisation based in Switzerland. Scort envisions a world where young people in vulnerable situations thrive through sports and help create peaceful communities.
In 2007, Scort established the Football Club Social Alliance (FCSA) with its permanent partner clubs: FC Basel 1893, SV Werder Bremen, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, FK Austria Wien, FC Schalke 04 and 1. FSV Mainz 05. Together with the FCSA as well as local and international partner organisations, sport-based projects are implemented around the world.
Additionally, advocacy activities complement these projects by mobilising partners to highlight the important role that sport can play in shaping and protecting the lives of vulnerable young people. These efforts focus on the use of sports in the context of forced displacement, promoting child protection through online safety, and fostering the inclusion of people with disabilities.
