The research project aim to produce Se-enriched dairy products and cheese as functional food through Se-biofortified alfalfa hay for feeding milking cows. Se4All public-private collaboration includes 5 research institutes providing the scientific know-how for the Se biofortification nutritive solution, open-field application and cows feeding, elaboration of dairy products at laboratory scale and the chemometrics competences required for unravelling the information (UNIR1); a synchrotron user facility with unique speciation capabilities an organic cheese manufacturer company for
marketing the products.
