Sealamat Foundation

The Sealamat foundation is a student-led nonprofit organization aiming to accentuate the significance of domestic workers in our society. ‘Sealamat’ means praising thanks, which our foundation wishes to bring upon domestic workers in Hong Kong and worldwide. Our organization advocates equal and fair treatment towards Ates and domestic workers through creative projects, outings with Ates, podcast series, teaching languages, and exciting fundraising events. We are open to partnerships with other organizations and individuals who feel passionate about our cause. Our organization comprises a diverse team from Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, and Mainland China - we want to incorporate diversity and show our international support towards equal rights for domestic workers. The Sealamat Foundation aims to make positive change and impact to our society, consistently working towards peace and harmony in Hong Kong.
