Seattle Special Education PTSA

Seattle Special Education Parent Teacher and Student Association (SSEPTSA) was founded in 2007 as a chapter of the Washington State Parent Teacher Association (WSPTA) know as Region 6 which serves all of the families in the Seattle School District. WSPTA is a premier parent organization, with over 100,000 members in more than 875 local PTAs, the association is an innovative, forward-thinking, and effective advocate for children. SSEPTSA is speciality non-profit, parent led, volunteer organization in Seattle, Washington. We are a PTSA focused on advocating and supporting Seattle families who receive special education services in the Seattle Public School District. We partner with PTAs/PTOs and organizations across Seattle to support and advocate for families with disabilities of any kind. All are welcome. Our vision is that every child’s potential becomes a reality. Our mission is for PTA to be a powerful voice for children, relevant resource for families, schools and communities, and a strong advocate for the well-being and education of all children.
