The first ‘modern’ upright vacuum cleaner was created by SEBO in 1978. They are regarded as the template upon which most uprights are now based. SEBO introduced many features which are now common on vacuum cleaners like the integrated hose, direct-drive toothed belts and electrostatic micro filters. Light in weight, durable and reliable, they rapidly became the world’s bestselling professional uprights. A position which SEBO still holds today.
Engineered in Germany, SEBO products are designed to be repairable, recyclable, and durable. However, over years of use, parts can wear out. We are proud to be able to offer replacement parts, even for models we no longer produce. Rather than being thrown away, an old SEBO can continue working. Eventually, when it does come to the end of its life, each component is marked with the product composition for recycling.
