Section Z

Section Z is a 501c3 launched in 2023 that brings a diverse group of young female athletes to live sporting events. MISSION | To expose young female and female identifying individuals to live sports events by having a dedicated section of seats at every professional sports stadium. PURPOSE | Ignite the dreamer within to show what’s possible through sports. SO THAT | They are inspired and see the growing opportunities and careers sports provide for women both on and off the court and field. Section Z gives a diverse, underserved demographic a chance to attend live sporting events. Shows participants firsthand that a career in professional sports is possible – as an athlete or otherwise Encourages girls that they belong and are an active part of the sports community, showing them they bring value and are the future. Inspires young women to believe in themselves and make positive, goal-oriented choices and imagine a broader and bolder future Deepens engagement with the teams, the athletes, and the conversation Serves as a gateway to creating lifelong fans and tapping into influential voices on socials
