Our mission is to empower rural communities, enhance food system resilience, and drive sustainable economic development while combating climate change. What We Do 1. Thriving Food Systems for Prosperity We work to revolutionize agriculture by addressing key barriers and enabling farmers to thrive: Identifying challenges in seed production, processing, and distribution to ensure farmers access high-quality inputs. Promoting high-yield, quality-declared seeds to boost productivity. Empowering farmers with better practices in pre- and post-harvest handling, including aflatoxin containment strategies. Enforcing strict food safety standards to protect consumers and build market confidence. Facilitating market access through contract farming, enabling farmer groups to earn higher, more stable incomes. 2. Clean Energy for Climate Action Our renewable energy solutions leverage nature-based innovations to transform rural livelihoods and combat climate change: Increasing access to affordable, clean energy for underserved communities. Deploying mobile solar charging stations to power last-mile connectivity. Advocating for solar-powered irrigation systems to boost farm productivity and quality. 3. Biodiversity and Ecosystem Restoration We are champions of biodiversity conservation and sustainable resource use, ensuring communities benefit from natural ecosystems: Conserving Shea trees in Northern Uganda to sustain the environment and local livelihoods. Strengthening the Shea value chain—from collection to marketing organic Shea butter products—unlocking economic opportunities. Providing policy guidance, capacity building, and knowledge transfer to promote biodiversity-based value chains on a regional and global scale.
