Society of Exploration Geophysicists RGIPT Student Chapter was established back in 2015 and has been striving forward for the very purpose of dissemination of geophysical knowledge in India and world at large. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Geophysical Society was awarded a Ridge-Level Chapter status in 2021. Mission - To collect, disseminate and exchange technical knowledge and to provide opportunities for students to enhance their technical and professional competence. Construction of opportunities that would act as a platform for the student members to showcase their skills and learn, provision them with the most actual information, established of contacts with the colleagues from all over the world and enhance the leadership skills within students.
