About Service Dogs Alabama

Service Dogs Alabama was founded in 2010 to provide Service Dogs to disabled children under the umbrella of Easter Seals Alabama. In March 2015, Service Dogs Alabama became an independent 501(c)(3) and expanded its scope. Since that time, Service Dogs Alabama has constructed a state-of-the-art training complex, created a prison-based puppy training initiative, and implemented a School Dog program to improve academic performance, reduce office referrals, and prevent disruptive behaviors in a school setting.
