Seven Rings Cement

The nation’s leading cement brand Seven Rings Cement was established in 1999 by Hong Kong based Shun Shing Group. The group was established in Hong Kong in the year 1988 and since then it has been involved in various international import and export trading businesses, dealing with cement, clinker, gypsum, limestone, rock phosphate and iron ore. Shun Shing Group is one of the leading suppliers of raw materials of cement all over the world. The group’s first industrial investment was in Bangladesh with the establishment of the first factory in Gazipur under the name Seven Circle Bangladesh Ltd. (SCBL). Since then, with growing demand, Seven Rings Cement has established two more factories at Khulna and Chattogram while increasing the capacity of Gazipur factory. The current total capacity of the brand is 8.4 million ton per annum. As forward and backward linkage supports of the cement industry, the group has established WPP (Woven Poly Propylene) bag manufacturing plant, power generation plant, road transportation division and water transport division. Besides these, the group also established Inland Costal Vessel building facilities with Slipway Dockyard for vessel’s maintenance. Seven Rings Cement has gone beyond the border of Bangladesh by exporting products to India since 2008. Currently we are producing four types of cements: i) Seven Rings Gold (Portland Cement, BDS EN 197-1:2010 CEM I, 52.N) ii) Seven Rings Special {Portland Composite Cement, BDS EN 197-1:2010 CEM II/A-M (S-V-L), 42.5N} iii) Seven Rings Cement {Portland Composite Cement, BDS EN 197-1:2010 CEM II/B-M (S-V-L), 42.5N} iv) Seven Rings Cement for export {Portland Pozzolana Cement, Indian standard 1489: 2015 (Pt. I), fly ash base} Besides Bangladesh, Shun Shing Group has established Green Cement LLC Dubai and has also set up a 1 million ton per annum VRM plant there to produce grounded slag and cement in bag/bulk for UAE and for export to nearby countries.
