The Shah Academy of Innovation and Leadership was established in September 2024 by founders Bhupen and Ramika Shah and provides resources to a select group of engineering students in the Francis College of Engineering - such as specific training and coursework (outside of the regular curriculum), access to exclusive professional development seminars, discussions with today's industry leaders, mentorship and personalized career counseling.
The Shah Academy’s mission is to build sustainable leaders and innovators by expanding the capacity of high potential UMass Lowell engineering students through education, experience, exposure and evaluation toward accelerating and improving their skillsets, abilities and confidence.
