Throughout LAUSD students on the verge of dropping out find themselves on the fringe of the education system. Since 2009 Sharefest has been the only community-based organization consistently working inside schools with youth who are under-served, under-resourced AND underestimated. Sharefest empowers them with life skills and professional development and helps them build a pathway to a life-changing career.
Sharefest pours more resources into each student than schools and other organizations can. Following a student from high school into college or the workforce is simply the most effective way for youth to achieve economic mobility and success.
