Sharing Seeds is a not for profit organization registered with the Nepal Government based in Sarangkot,Pandeli village near to Pokhara city, the Tourism capital of Nepal.
We Supports more than 100 small local farmers to produce Organic Arabica Coffee by providing high quality coffee plants and various coffee farming trainings and also offers new opportunities to local women in Tallathar village of Sarangkot to be involved in organic breakfast/Lunch experiences to benefit from Sustainable tourism.
In every Nepali village, many youths have been flown away mostly to the Middle- East & throughout the world for a better quality of life and income. Sadly, lots of youths need to do very hard & risky jobs just for few hundred dollars salary a month and sometimes they lost their life while working a harsh condition on these countries. Our organization is slowly motivating these youths & womens to engage in sustainable cash crops farming like coffee and Beekeeping and into community based tourism.
