Innovation Unit - San Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid is a multidisciplinary initiative launched to design, develop and implement innovative solutions within the healthcare sector, through a methodology based on the identification of unsolved health problems and unmet clinical needs. Its objective is to make healthcare more efficient, safer and smarter. The "SmartHealth LAB" is a pioneer health technology laboratory located at San Carlos Clinical Hospital which goal is to make knowledge available to patients and healthcare professionals through ICT and with a special focus on mobile health. The Ideas Incubator is also an initiative from the Innovation Unit San Carlos Clinical Hospital which goal is the promotion and spreading of innovative projects related to healthcare.
