Shelby Engineering Ltd. is an Edmonton, Alberta based consulting Engineering firm incorporated in 1982 to provide Geotechnical, Environmental, Forensic, and Materials Engineering services, as well as Materials Testing and field inspection & monitoring services. Shelby is licensed to provide services in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Shelby operates a fully equipped laboratory for testing soil, aggregate, asphalt and concrete. Our Materials Testing Laboratory is a CSA Category II certified concrete testing laboratory. Shelby has provided the above services on over 20,000 individual projects, with a staff complement that varies seasonally from 50 to 70. Shelby offers engineering and testing services to a wide assortment of projects, including but not limited to: small and large scale residential and commercial developments, high-rise towers, health facilities, recreation centers, schools, fire halls, municipal infrastructure, warehousing, highways, retaining structures, treatment plants, railroads, subdivisions and industrial sites.
