The fleet is modernising to take advantage of the healthy, sustainable fish stocks which gather around Shetland’s wild coast. Four of our main stocks haddock, coley, hake and plaice still hold MSC status and our onshore infrastructure is improving with two new fish markets opened this year. The Shetland Islands is located in the midst of some of the most prolific fishing grounds in Europe. Shetland is the second largest whitefish landing port in the UK. Our buying team is dedicated to helping our customers access some of the finest, freshest whitefish available.
