Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC)

Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center, previously named as China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Shanghai Sub-Commission, hereinafter referred to as "SHIAC") was established by the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai in 1988 with the official approval of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. SHIAC is an international commercial arbitration institution providing independent, fair, professional, and efficient dispute resolution services for various domestic and foreign commercial entities. Currently, the fourth session of the SHIAC’s Committee comprises a total of 13 members from fields of economy and law, including three overseas members. The SHIAC's Secretariat is responsible for daily operations.
