Society for Heart and Vascular Metabolism (SHVM)

We are pleased to invite you to the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Society for Heart and Vascular Metabolism (SHVM), to be held in Bordeaux, France, from Sunday, June 22nd to Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. In keeping with the 20-year tradition of SHVM meetings, this event will gather investigators from around the globe to provide a forum for the free exchange of ideas, promote scientific interactions between young researchers and senior scientists in both formal and informal settings, and foster an atmosphere that encourages new collaborations. The scientific focus of the 2025 meeting is "Shedding Light on Emerging Metabolic Targets in Cardiovascular Diseases", which will identify and explore critical gaps in knowledge and research challenges as well as opportunities and promising strategies for advancing prevention, diagnosis, and treatment modalities related to heart and vascular diseases. Session talks will range from basic science, translational science, and clinical applications. Distinguished faculty and internationally renowned scientists will provide insights into underlying mechanisms and novel therapeutic targets and discuss treatment strategies.
