Silviculture Academy

Silviculture Academy CIC is a not-for-profit educational organisation dedicated to the advancement of learning and skills in the forestry and forest conservation sectors. We are engaged in knowledge mobilisation and committed to the ethos that we can harvest timber and preserve the forest ecosystem at one and the same time. Silviculture Academy has the primary purpose of designing, developing and delivering a range of short courses, e-learning packages and micro-credentials in forestry, with a focus on the science and practice of silviculture. We work in partnership and collaboration with a wide range of government, non-government and educational organisations to deliver the highest quality and relevant learning opportunities for professionals in the sector. Silviculture Academy comprises company directors, an international advisory board and Associate Lecturers who are recognised leaders in their fields. We operate an annual programme of courses in the UK and Ireland.
