SIMEPSI is a multidisciplinary organization made up of doctors, therapists, researchers, and humanists, with the goal of generating a rigorous and well-articulated, evidence-based discourse aimed at supporting the advancement of the knowledge and therapeutic applications of psychedelics.
The rapid evolution of psychedelic research in the medical field is opening up new scenarios within the clinical landscape.
Our objective is to be an active part in developing Psychedelic Medicine in Italy. We aim to raise awareness about the benefits and potential risks of these methodologies, providing scientifically valid recommendations, and participating as an interface in the process of regulation and implementation of psychedelic based therapies in our country.
