Sine Calibration and Metrology Training provides the foundational measurement education to individuals new to the field of calibration and metrology. With the industry feeling the impact of the technician shortage, Sine has been helping labs train new employees, or transition outstanding non-technical staff members, to be successful metrology technicians.
Our roots are from the military metrology programs, but we take that knowledge base and round it out with the most common disciplines that commercial calibration labs focus on. Currently our school focuses on the following metrology disciplines: Electronics, temperature, pressure, force, torque, dimensional, mass & weighing instruments, VSWR and high frequency, and general metrology subjects.
2021 saw the completion of our test and certification program development for our Certified Metrology Technician™ certification program. This test will now be going through the accreditation process for an ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation.
