Sixonia's mission is to drive the next wave of product innovation by enabling innovators to use the remarkable properties of supermaterials like e-Graphenes and ensure their commercial supply.
Sixonia supercharges next-generation products with e-Graphenes, a groundbreaking innovation in the form of novel electrochemically produced, functionalized, large-flake, few-layer Graphenes. These e-Graphenes offer unparalleled performance and ease of use, surpassing traditional Graphenes like LPE or (reduced) Graphene oxide. Sixonia offers customization for each customers' application and autonomous onsite production for serial production, mitigating customer supply-chain risks.
The technology behind e-Graphenes was refined within 150 customer projects with companies like Varta, Bosch, Continental, Tetra Pak, and Henkel and is now available on an industrial scale.
Sixonia was founded in 2017 as a spin-off of TU Dresden and is led by founder & CTO Dr Martin Lohe and CEO Rüdiger Henke.
