The Past
In November 1, 2020, SJE Consultants Limited (SJE) acquired Stanley Consultants Inc. (SCI) Jamaica operations, including liability, assets and staff. All SCI’s existing contracts in Jamaica were also novated to SJE.
Accordingly, SJE was formed in collaboration with SCI as a “spin-off firm” to continue providing quality engineering service to the Caribbean Region. SJE retained its core team members that worked on most of Jamaica's major legacy projects over the last 27 years.
The SJE core team has been involved with most recent major highway feasibility studies, highway design and construction management projects in Jamaica.
The Present
As a Jamaican member-owned engineering consultancy firm, SJE currently has a staff complement of confident, innovative and forward-thinking Professional Engineers and other technical and administrative staff. We are currently involved in Engineering Design, Construction Supervision, and Contract Administration of numerous government infrastructure projects including highway development and flood control.
We are engaged by Private Sector Clients with whom we have built solid relationships and provide solutions for their unique and dynamic situations. We are increasing our footprint in this sector through the provision of continued quality services at the highest level of professionalism.
The Future
SJE aims to be the leading infrastructure Engineering Consultancy Firm in the Caribbean region. We will achieve this by continuing to provide quality service to our Clients that exceeds their expectations leading to repeat business while attracting new Clients.
To continue to provide quality service to our Clients, SJE requires quality engineers on our team. SJE will therefore continue to attract and recruit the best engineers to join the team as SJE continues to expand its Client base and global reach.
