Founded in 1979 and wholly Australian owned and operated, Skytraders is a principal provider of special mission air services to Government.
Skytraders specialises in supplying technically complex and operationally vital air-services exclusively to Government on a best value basis. The Company has long-term relationships operating a fleet of specially modified ACJ 319s, CASA 212-400s and Beechcraft Super King Air 350ERs for the Australian Antarctic Division, Australian Border Force, the Australian Defence Force Parachuting School, Victoria Police, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and Headquarters Joint Operations Command. These contracts incorporate highly specialist services underpinned by a commitment to operational certainty including a global medivac and emergency response capability, cold climate operations, special mission charter, high-altitude parachute training, surveillance, search and rescue, and logistics.
Skytraders holds a wide range of internal approvals including 180 EDTO approval with the authorisation to self-approve operational routes, CAR 30 Maintenance and Part 142 Training and Check Approvals, and is a 21.M Approved Design Organisation.
