The Slingshot Development Fund seeks to improve the living conditions of the people from Burma who are living, or have lived, in the Tennaserim Region and their communities. Priority is given to community based organizations, local initiatives, and emergency relief grants whose beneficiaries are the people affected by the Yadana gas pipeline (generally defined as the region between Ye and Tavoy). Second priority will be given to grants that provide critical, emergency humanitarian relief to other regions of Burma, or for persons who have fled Burma across the Thai border.
