We envision a future where pay-by-bank becomes the dominant payment method in the EU, replacing traditional card networks like Visa and Mastercard. As this transformation unfolds, smartIBAN aims to be the backbone of payment infrastructure for Payment Service Providers (PSPs), enabling seamless, real-time transactions across Europe.
While we compete with and complement open banking, we go beyond it, offering a more direct, scalable, and efficient alternative for financial institutions and businesses.
