SmartLigs is a bioinformatics company specialized in computer-aided drug design. We aim to streamline drug discovery through computational chemistry technologies combined with molecular biology, medicinal chemistry and pharmacology knowledge. We offer a wide variety of chemoinformatics services ranging from virtual screening to molecular modeling and QSAR-3D expertise. We use cutting edge in silico techniques to identify hits (active drug candidates), select leads (most likely candidates for further evaluation), and optimize leads i.e. transform biologically active compounds into suitable drugs by improving their physicochemical, pharmaceutical and pharmacokinetic properties.
Our main focus is red biotechnology, but our methodologies for molecular simulations could be applied to white, green and blue biotechnology areas.
