Soapbox International started as a local weekly open mic night in 2006 and quickly evolved into a creative community seeking to expand it's reach and interaction with artists, performers, and creatives. Soapbox Sessions, the flagship open mic, has been produced and hosted by Jason Brain and held at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf since 2006, giving a stage and space for performers of all sorts to practice their craft in front of a live audience. Soapbox International has expanded it's reach and explored the world of Internet Radio (www.ksbxradio.com) and Concert events (Sweet Noise) and is currently sharpening it's business plan and looking to a sustainable future including many exciting opportunities, including providing artists and performers exceptional promotional media, expanding the Soapbox open mic brand, and promoting the expansion of Arts, Creativity, and Critical Thinking in education and daily life.
