Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services. To date, more than 10,000 business owners have graduated from the program across all 50 states in the US, Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. PRACTICAL BUSINESS EDUCATION Partner with local colleges to provide small business owners with a practical business education, the curriculum is designed and co-delivered in partnership with Babson College, the national leader in entrepreneurship education. The program is currently operating in Long Beach and Los Angeles as well as nationally at 18 other sites across the county. A NETWORK OF SUPPORT Facilitate opportunities for small business owners to receive expert advice from business professionals, get one-on-one business advising, and join an alumni network following graduation. ACCESS TO CAPITAL Work with local, regional, and national Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and other mission-driven small business lenders to expand access to capital for local small businesses.
